The original Siebert Street Elementary School stood in German Village at 385 Reinhard Ave. in the same spot as it’s namesake. It was deemed a fire hazard by Columbus City Schools and replaced in 1976.
shown below: (1) the original Siebert Street Elementary being replaced by it’s successor
and (2) the new Siebert St. School today.

Columbus, Ohio: Avondale Elementary School opened in 1893 at 196 Avondale. It is still operational and recently reopened after a major renovation.

Columbus, Ohio: The American Insurance Union Auditorium and the Colonial Theatre stood at 40 and 50 W Broad St. They were torn down and replaced with Leveque Tower in 1927.

The Chittenden Hotel, designed by George Bellows and built circa 1893. Stood at 205 N High St, corner of High & Spring. Demolished in Feb of 1973.
